Every good story has an end- our favorite JDM discontinued.

And there they go, the best cars Japan has to offer and the best cars that the world has ever seen - We will never see them again. Mitsubishi has announced that Lancer Evolution will be discontinued. The new 2011 STi is the last STi. S2000 was discontinued in '09. NSX in '04. RX-8 is simply a shadow of a car that was discontinued nearly 10 years ago and that too will be soon discontinued. What are we left with? The GTR, IS-F, LF-A, Civic Si and some random German BS. Ford finally stepped in the game with their Boss 302 but there's no one to compete against anymore. If you want to feel that VTEC in the NSX, you will have to find a used one- which is just as hard as climbing the mount Everest- possible and yet impossible at the same time. RX-7 are all turned into project cars, Integra Type-R costs 20,000 dollars and Supras are all raped. There are rumors that the new Evo 11 (which will be JDM only) will have a diesel engine- A DIESEL! Well, it sure was a fun ride, but I guess it's time to say goodbye, and hope that in future we will see JDM cars return, better than ever.

Americans finally made a car that handles- Boss 302

What do you get when you combine an M3 with a Mustang? Boss 302- the first American car that actually handles. It has adjustable shocks, quad-exhaust and a 440 horsepower high-rev V8 engine. You might think- "well, there's nothing new about this, we've seen all of this in the Evos and M3s."- and you are most certainly right, except for one thing. This isn't another Japanese car with the spirit of a samurai or another German car with the looks of a sad Nazi. This is a true American body-builder, except for unlike any other body-builder, this one's got balls. If Ford Mustang GT managed to keep up to the M3 in the Motor Trend test, can you imagine what this car is capable of? This car is now on a much higher level than the M3. It has Brembo brakes and a three-gauge kit. But what's more, this car, unlike the M3, has pride- the pride of a true Boss- which will be passed down to the driver.

Top 5 Most legendary cars

1. Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R
This car makes all the Initial-D stuff look like a joke. This car, the "King up Uphill Racing", the most interesting and one of the fastest cars this world has ever seen. It has a 5.8" LCD in the dashboard, 330hp under the bonnet and doing a 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, for a car that was presented in 1999 and destroyed everything around, it's worth ordering one from Japan. It comes with a 2.6 straight-six twin-turbo charged, for a more powerful boost with less lag. It's handling embarrasses the laws of nature. Even now it destroys the STi's and EVO's and can freely compete with it's shadow, GT-R 35.

2. Mazda RX-7 FD

These cars still cost well over $25,000 stock. They are awesome looking, fast, and most of all, legendary. This baby had and still has 276 hp under the bonnet. It crushes the RX-8 with it's twin turbos and 1.3L rotary engine. Some versions of this car had leather seats. It does 0-60 in under 5 seconds and has a top speed of 160mph. That's just as fast as '06 STi, and it's 13 years older than the '06 STi. On the Skidpad it does up to .99gs and can rev up to 8000rpm and does slalom in blasting 70 mph. There's a reason it's one of the top choices for movies, drift and track racing.

3. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR is the fastest Evolution ever imported to the US. But there's only 3 models that were imported into the US, the VIII, IX and the X. But which one is the fastest EVO ever made? Well, the answer is simple- EVO VI. It has a redline of 7000rpm. It has a 276 hp engine that does 0-60 in 4.4 seconds- faster than EVO IX and X with a top speed of 150mph, 5 mph less than the IX and X. It can go around the corners couple milliseconds faster than the EVO IX, which means it's couple seconds faster than EVO X. There's a reason that Tommi Makkinen chose this car.

4. Honda Integra Type-R
If you think Honda Civic Si is a good choice- think again. This baby can rev up to 9000. It does 0-60 in blasting 6 seconds and has a top speed of 142 miles an hour. That's the same exact specs and even faster than '08 WRX, '09 Ralliart, Mazdaspeed 3 and Honda Civic Si. It's known in Japan as Honda Integra Type-R but the US got Acura Integra Type-R. Different names but same specs. It does .92gs around the skidpad, and used to be one of the top choices for track racing.

5. Toyota Corolla AE-86 "Hachi-Roku"

Power is definitely not what this car is about. It's literally torqueless because it only can do 105 lb-ft of torque. It's 0-60 is unknown. It's top speed it 112 mph. So what's so special about this car? Handling! If you think that Honda S2000 is the only car with 50/50 weight distribution and almost perfect handling, you are dead wrong. The "Hachi Roku" also has 50/50 weight distribution and with the proper performance upgrades, you will get the best handling car ever. Drift champs drive this car for a reason. In fact, it's one of the top picks for drift among silvias, rx-7 and 8 and Nissan Zs.

A perfect car for a woman

Women need specific cars. Unlike the men, women are not as skilled in driving. They don't even see what's in front of them most of the time. So I decided to make this post for those women who have no info whatsoever what on car to buy. I'm not going to talk about power at all. Instead, I'll try to look at every car that I discuss here so every woman that's reading this post is able to process whatever I'm saying.
1. Lexus IS-C
Starting: $40,000

It looks like a regular IS series Lexus. The only difference is the fact that's its a convertible. It's got great quality leather, nice looking rims and it's pretty fast to, and most important thing, its safe. Other women will be jealous of you driving this car, because this car is like a diamond.

2. BMW Z4

Starting: $46,000

It's fast- yes. It's pretty nice looking to. But this car is not for a woman who has a family. This is more of a car for a woman who likes to go shopping. Its got a big boot, big front, and that BMW Z spirit. That's the great thing about BMW Zs, they always have that Z spirit, no matter what model it is.

3. Mercedes C-Class

Starting: $33,000

All it is is just another C-Class mercedes. It's nice looking, fast and very comfortable. This is more of a car for older women, because it doesn't have what Lexus IS or BMW Z have, that 15 year old girly spirit. It's more like a 40 year old business woman car. It's also a great family car too, and it's not as expensive.

4. Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Starting: $29,000

Cheapest, yet most probably quickest in the list. This is not a car for a 15 year old girl, neither its a car for a 40 year old business woman. This car is for wicked women that like to have fun while driving without much hassle of using clutch, and most important part is- age doesn't matter!

5. Jaguar XK

Starting: $80,000
This car is a perfect alternative to BMW Z4. It looks nicer and it has a much better quality interior.
This one is more of a car for 30 year old woman. It still has that 15 year old girl wickedness, but it's becoming as responsible as a 40 year old. It's the most expensive in the list, which means, more showing off.

Thoughts on Straight Line races.

By saying straight line, I don't mean just drag or roll or any other race. I'm talking about any race that includes a run from point A to point B without any corners. Any requirements? Sure, get a fast car and any idiot from a suicide hotline and stick them behind the wheel and ask them to press the gas pedal as soon as the green light comes on. What's the catch? Come to the finish first. Any skill required? Yeah, just know how to use stick-shift. I mean, come on, straight line races are pointless. There are no corners, there's no skill, it's not the driver, it's all about the car. I see people buying Ferraris or old Mustangs and putting big block chevy engines under the bonnet, spending from $10,000 to $100,000 or even more, just to make their car go fast on a straight line. But they simply don't realize that they are making a car that is literally, just like a bullet. It goes, it goes pretty fast, but it only goes straight. What if you try to turn? Sure, go ahead, make sure you have your last wish written down and confirmed by your attorney though, or else the only thing your family will get is your wrecked car. Let's forget drag cars, and let's look at normal, every day cars. Teenagers go out and buy Evos and M3s and STi and other stuff, tune it up and race it on a highway. What do they prove? Their cars are the "fastest". The only thing is though, they only prove that to themselves, while everyone else thinks that those teens are lifeless morons who have nothing better to do than spend thousands of dollars on their lame cars. For what? To prove how cool they are on a straight-line.

What do you really get when you buy an M3?

Me and my friend were talking today about BMW, mainly M3. I was saying that it's slower than an Evo, but yet its more expensive. He was saying that you get whatever you pay for. In this topic that is specifically dedicated to my friend, I will be talking about BMW M3 in general, without making any comparisons.
First, lets look at the design. It looks pretty nice, you can't deny that. Its put together really well, but thats the looks. Is it comfortable? No. Is it fast? Obviously not. So why do people buy this car? There are many answers. It can be either they have to much money that they don't know where to stick it in, or they like the looks and want to show off. Or maybe, their friends told them that its fast. A smart person would go out and buy an M3, drive it around, understand that he made a mistake and sell that car. A wise person won't buy the car at first place. It has a giant 420 hp V8 delivering 300lb-ft. The only problem is, it doesn't have any boost. Why would you make a high rev V8? I'd rather buy a turbocharged V6. It has seats made out of fake leather, sat-nav, A/C and boat load of other stuff you don't need in a car that's made for racing, especially track racing. It all adds up to 3, 704 lb! This car is engineered just as good as VW or even worse, a Yugo! This car is the proof that you cannot combine luxury and speed together, they just don't go along. And by speed I don't mean just 0-60 and top speed. I'm talking about handling, how fast the car enters and exits a corner and all the other stuff that other douche bags just don't get and they just stick to straight lines. If you wanna look nice and at the same time get ripped off by BMW, this car is perfect for you.

Which Nissan Z possesses True Z-Spirit?

You probably know that there's more than just 3 Nissan Zs right? It's not just 300, 350 and brand new 370. There's the Datsun 240 and 280, Nissan 300ZX (Z31) and finally it starts with this Z32 model (at least this is the one you are most familiar with).

1. Nissan 300ZX
Nissan 300ZX (Z32). Do not mistake it for Z31 because they don't look alike at all. They don't perform alike either. This nissan is the fastest one in 1/4 mile out of the whole Z family. It does handle quite well for a car that was produced in 90s. It has a 3.0 liter V6 producing 300hp and capable of 283lb-ft of torque. It does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and has a limited top speed of 155mph. This car was the first car in the whole Z Family to come with optional convertible version. It was originally created to beat Porche 944, but instead, it murdered it, not just with power and handling, but also with price and looks. It was cheaper model, yet it was the faster one too. But it did have and still has flaws. For a car that has 300 hp it has brakes that could hardly match to the standarts of 200hp car. They should've paid more attention to that. Talking about braking, this car is not as safe as you think. It's fuel economy is horrible, similar to the one of an American muscle. It doesn't have much cargo space, and it's very noise, and ride doesn't feel good either. But back in 90s, I'm pretty sure people didn't care about that. The problem is, now in 2010, it's a big deal. You can't find one in a good condition anymore. You must be the luckiest person on earth to do so. Don't forget the fact that it has a turbocharged engine and it has horrible brakes, so you might find yourself spending over $2k just to rebuild the engine.
2. Nissan 350Z
I see many teens driving this car and they don't even know that they are driving a Renault. In 2001 Carlos Ghosn CEO of Renault and Nissan announced the new Z. I personally have no problems with Renault, neither I have problems with the Man of 2003. But I do have some problems with the car. Since 2001, Nissan is not a Nissan anymore. It's not a Z anymore either, so you probably guessed which car would win this competition if this one is not a Z anymore. 2005 model was slightly modified. It went up from 286hp 274lb-ft torque engine to 300hp engine with less torque. 2007 models had even better 307hp engine with 7500 rpm redline. It does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. It's safety ratings are pretty amazing to- 4/5 front and 4/5 side. It's pretty comfortable, and it looks nice too. "So what can be the problem?" you might think. Well, it's way to comfortable, it has way to much luxuries, and unlike other Z cars, it doesn't beat any porche or any other big-shot douche bag car maker. It's not that cool anymore. This is a sunday drive car, and it doesn't deserve the title Z at all.
3. Nissan 370Z
You might think that I would say the same cold words to this one as I said to 350Z, but you are wrong. As I said before, I have no problems with Renault, so don't think I didn't like the 350 just because it was manufactured under Renault's ownership. This one has the 350 looks, and the 300 intensity and speed. It's not faster than 300Z. It has a bigger 3.7L V6 capable of 332hp and 270lbs. It does 0-60 in 5 seconds, slower than 300. It dos 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds, just as fast M3 convertible. It manages to hit a great score on skidpad too, 0.99g, 0.01g more than the M3. Unlike the 350, this one kinda gains some of the Z-spirit, but obviously not all of it. It way to cocky, way to smooth and quiet. It's engine is neither supercharged/turbocharged or high rev. It's boring and quiet, and it doesn't scream. So why would it even have the Z-Spirit? Renault made "Z" series softer and more quiet. That way, they completely interrupted Z-line.

Winner:
Out of three cars the winner is obviously 300ZX. It's fast, it's engine is turbocharged, it's nice looking, it's a porche killer and still is an M3 and 135i killer. It screams and sounds like a mentally retarded gorilla. It handles well and it goes to. To bad they don't have them stock anymore and it is hard to find a good one, but if you do, make sure to buy it without any hesitation.
